## What Userland is

Userland helps your connected assistant or coding agent build, deploy, test and repair a standard Cloudflare Worker app. Your app owns its sign-in and data access. Userland handles protected previews, resource setup, secret bindings and deployment history.

Native hosting is currently limited to explicitly enabled accounts. Live purchases are not open yet.

## How support works

Use the help link in the console or email support@userland.fun. Support covers Userland itself, account access, billing and deployment problems. Changes to your app's code are your coding agent's work.

See [service status](https://status.userland.fun/) for recent availability checks. The checker shares Cloudflare infrastructure with Userland, so a Cloudflare or account-wide outage can affect both.

## How Userland keeps your work safe

- **Protected previews.** Preview access is scoped to the selected app version and current authorization.
- **Saved source.** Your agent can retrieve the source and deployment history to continue the work.
- **Server-side secrets.** Store provider credentials in secret bindings. Your agent must keep their values out of source, logs and browser responses.
- **App isolation.** Apps run separately and must implement their own user permissions.
- **Useful diagnostics.** When enabled, protected logs and test evidence help your agent find and fix problems.

## What happens to your data

You own your app and its data. Code rollback and saved-data recovery are separate actions; neither silently rewinds the other. Recovery and retention terms for the redesigned service will be published before live purchases open. The linked policies remain the current published policies while the redesign is not generally available.

## Report a security problem

If you find a security problem in Userland, email support@userland.fun with what you found and how to see it, instead of testing it further. To report an app that breaks our rules, follow our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://userland.fun/legal/acceptable-use/).

## FAQ

### Who owns my app and its data?

You do. Userland stores and runs your app, its saved records and its files for you, and uses them only as the [Terms of Service](https://userland.fun/legal/terms/#your-apps-and-content) describe, to run, secure and improve Userland and to follow the law.

### What happens if I stop paying?

Live purchases are not open yet. The new service, recovery and retention terms will be published before paid hosting opens. Do not rely on a free-plan fallback or indefinite retention.

### Can I keep a copy of my app?

Yes. Whether you build in chat or on your computer, the code stays yours. Your agent can retrieve saved source. Full saved-data archives are a separate protected action in the signed-in console, subject to the published recovery policy.

## For coding agents

Support is the console's help link or support@userland.fun, and it covers Userland itself, the account, billing and publishing, not changes to an app's code. The Terms of Service are the agreement and say who provides Userland. Do not invent reply-time guarantees or promise public hosting before it is enabled.
