Usage refreshes each monthly service period, with no rollover. Annual and two-year payments do not combine those months into one pool. Storage is a total capacity, not a fresh allocation each month. MB and GB use decimal units.

**Counted** work is reserved or counted before more work starts. **Monitored** usage comes from provider reports, which can be delayed or incomplete. Work may pause at a limit or while a safety check needs attention. Userland does not buy extra usage or upgrade your plan automatically.

Build and test time includes hosted commands and browser checks, including unsuccessful attempts. [Task limits and current capabilities](https://docs.userland.fun/reference/limits/) still apply. No plan includes unlimited third-party AI, email or other provider spending.

## Why choose two years?

Pay once for 24 months at the lowest monthly equivalent. Pro is **$20 per month equivalent, paid as $480 upfront every two years**. That saves $696 compared with 24 monthly payments of $49.

An annual subscription gives a smaller discount with a shorter commitment. Monthly billing spreads payments over time and has the highest monthly price. Every option shows its full charge before payment.

## Before you buy

All prices are in US dollars. Userland is not adding tax at checkout; the full charge is shown before you confirm. Annual and two-year subscriptions are paid upfront and renew for the same billing term. Cancellation, refund, payment recovery and data retention terms will take effect before live checkout opens.

Your plan applies to your Userland Account. Each billing term will have the same monthly allowances for its plan; paying upfront does not combine those monthly allowances into one large pool.

## FAQ

### What do I pay upfront?

Monthly billing charges one month at a time. Annual billing charges the full year upfront. Two-year billing charges the full two years upfront. The monthly equivalent is a comparison, not a monthly installment. All prices are in US dollars. Userland is not adding tax at checkout; the full charge is shown before you confirm.

### Does paying upfront change my monthly allowance?

Each billing term has the same monthly allowances for its plan, listed below. Paying for two years does not make two years of capacity available at once. Usage does not roll over, and storage is a total capacity rather than a fresh monthly allocation. Live purchases are not open yet.

### Is there a free plan?

We are not announcing a free plan with these prices. The available plans will be Starter, Pro and Max.

### Can my coding agent buy a plan for me?

Only when you explicitly ask it to help with a purchase. Routine app work does not start checkout. An Account owner chooses an offer and reviews the full charge on Stripe before confirming payment.

### What else do I pay for?

You keep paying for your own coding agent. If your app uses other paid services, those providers may bill you separately. The plan allowances below cover supported Userland hosting; Userland does not buy extra usage or upgrade your plan automatically. Service terms will take effect before paid hosting opens.

These are the approved prices and plan allowances for the redesigned Userland. Live purchases are not open yet. The comparison does not grant hosting or change an Account's current plan. Do not promise a free plan, refunds or cancellation outcomes before the service terms take effect. Buying a plan is a separate, explicit action by an Account owner; building or publishing an app must never silently start checkout.
