App addresses

Apps on userland.link

Addresses ending in userland.link belong to apps that businesses build and run on Userland. Here's who makes them, how they relate to Userland's own sites, and how to report one.

Who makes these apps

An app address under userland.link belongs to an app made by a business that uses Userland. Each business builds its own app, usually with an AI coding agent, and Userland runs it. The business is responsible for what its app says and does. We don’t review apps before they go live, and we act on reports.

Userland’s own sites

Userland’s website, docs and account pages are on userland.fun. Userland never asks you to sign in to your Userland account on a userland.link address. An app may have its own sign-in for its customers, but a page there that asks for your Userland account isn’t from us: please report it.

Why apps have their own address

Customer apps live on a different domain from Userland’s own sites, so your browser keeps them apart. An app can’t read or change your sign-in to your Userland account, and a problem with one app can’t block Userland’s sign-in, docs or website.

Report an app

To report an app for phishing, malware, spam, harassment or any other abuse, email support@userland.fun with:

  • the app’s address, on userland.link or the business’s own domain;
  • what you saw, and when.

You don’t need a Userland account to report an app. We aim to act on reports of phishing within 24 hours; this is not a guaranteed response or resolution time. Our Acceptable Use Policy lists what apps can’t do. For a copyright complaint, follow our Copyright Policy instead.
